For this year's Celebrate AASU Day, Lane Library will present a cake walk. Just what is a cake walk, you might be wondering? Well, participants walk around a circle of numbers while music is played. When the music stops, a number is drawn and whoever is standing on that number wins an entire cake!
Tickets are only $3 dollars, and everyone who buys a ticket receives a goody bag in addition to the chance to win a whole cake. Cake walk winners will select from a variety of delicious homemade cakes and pies. Some of the choices are golden rum cake, strawberry cream cheese pound cake, red velvet cake, pecan pie, pumpkin pie, chocolate layer cake, hummingbird cake, plus many more.
Be sure to purchase a cake walk ticket early on October 21st so you don't miss out! All proceeds go directly towards the purchase of books for your Lane Library.
