When I looked over a list of books checked out last month, I noticed that over 150 were circulating for the first time, even though most had been in our collection for years. That got me thinking about the many unnoticed and neglected “gems” in our collection, and I decided to publicize what I call “Lonely Books” in various subjects, starting with Education.
Each of these books, published in the last several years, was rated “Highly Recommended” or “Essential” in Choice. All of them are in Lane Library, and none have ever been checked out. Look the list over and see what you may have been missing. They are waiting for you.
